My Disappearing and Reappearing Skirt

What is this blog, the Carrie Carrie Carrie show?
Anyway.... Two years ago I went on vacation in sunny Tybee Island, GA, just off the coast of Savannah. While I was there I picked up a cool newspaper for women that I had never seen before, called Skirt! (I also got overtired and dehydrated and went into false labor and fmy 36 week pregnant self almost gave birth in the ocean, but that's another post.)



I devoured several backissues as I could find them but once I got back to Atlanta, couldn't find the publication anywhere. Then several months later I found Skirt! at my library. Happy me!



Then it disappeared again. I asked the librarian where my Skirt! was and she looked at me funny. Weeks went by. Today I walk in again and find my September issue! I'm so happy that they're carrying Skirt! again. It's a free newspaper and only available in some southern states but also by subscription. You can get a free issue sent to your home if you like.



The artwork is so cool that I usually cut a lot of the pictures out and decorate notebooks and stuff with it. I keep trying to get published in the magazine, but my press releases have gotten me nowhere thus far. It'll happen though. Skirt! readers need to know about their fellow southern mom and her podcast.

I did get a pair of free tickets to a movie premiere from the editor though!
