It's Frugal Week - Care to Join Me?

Mary Hunt, author of Debt Proof Living and other books, has just declared this week Frugal Week. It's day two and I just found out about it on her blog Money Rules, Debt Stinks.
I've decided to join the fun. (Yes, to me being cheap is fun. I love beating the system. Makes me feel all gangsta mom.) Here's what I committed to for the week:
1) No Starbucks this week (ouch!)
2) Hanging all laundry
Actually, number two I have decided to do permanently. I actually enjoy hanging laundry out on the line and after reading a little book called Seven Wonders: Everyday Things for a Healthier Planet, I feel happy knowing I'm doing something good for the environment and the electric bill.
This isn't my clothesline, but everything is cuter in Italy, and part of the reason I am cheap is so I can eventually take my children to see Italy in person. Including the laundry hanging out.
Incidentally I interviewed Tawra Kelly on Moms Money this week, we talked about her new to be released book about how to live on less than $1,000 a month. It's the true story of how her mother did just that.
Do you want to join me for Frugal Week? What are you willing to give up for 7 days? And what will you do with the money saved?

I know it's half over, but I'll give up my take-out coffee too!
Thanks Cara, we'll caffeinate at home this week together. :)
Eat majority of your meals at home.
I think being cheap is fun too...especially when it is by choice not necessity! Lol at "feeling all gangsta mom"!
