Saturday is D Day!
And even though I've spent the last few years actively battling it, and knowing full well the benefits of getting rid of it, I still have too much.
I started trying one of the methods in an ebook I have called Declutter Fast and it has really made it more fun, so I WANT to declutter, it's strange, I know.
Part of the trick to making decluttering work, is to do it on a regular basis, so I've decided to make Saturday D Day - D for Declutter at our house.
That doesn't mean that I am spending all day Saturday decluttering, just that I am comitting to decluttering one thing.
I'm going to post to my blog every Saturday, that way anyone who would like to join D Day (which can be a day of your choosing) can join in - post what you've decluttered if you like, but more importantly, how you feel, what worked for you and what didn't work.
If you'd like to join me or see more details, the link is here

I've also written a few articles on clutter (I'm on a roll :0)

What am I decluttering today? My livingroom. We just did some painting and decluttered a lot a few weeks ago, but already it can use another go. I'm expecting it to be relatively painless but effective.
That's why I am really liking the Declutter Fast book (you can see more about it on my blog), it gives a different spin and I find myself taking things out of "my space" that I normally would have left. It's so much better (I always thought I knew how to declutter, it's pretty basic, but now I know that I needed some pointers)
