They rolled the car yesterday!

What next?

After writing the entry about the tragic teen car accident that happened in our area about a week ago and my concerns about teens and driving/parenting, my son came home yesterday to say he had been in a car accident and they rolled the car.

He wasn't driving, it highlights the importance of knowing who your kids are driving with, but I'm banging my head against the wall on this issue, I think I have even more gray hairs now!

And egg on my face because I told my friend that after hearing about the teen accident that I would definitely be knowing where my kids where and what they where doing every minute - is that even possible?

(I am mourning the loss of my own minivan after engine problems is making it likely that it will be taken off the road, it's got some great memories, my kid-mobile! I am going to miss it and all that it means - my kids are growing up and I don't need another minivan - boohoo :0(
