Involved Dads Rock!
Today, the boys had a playdate with a friend from their old preschool. My husband was excited to hear that my son's would be able to see a friend they hadn't seen in a while and offered to take the kids bowling. Thanks Daddy!
Then, just before they arrive, the boys Dad calls and just confirms the directions to our house. He said, "This is really great because I can take my daughter to see the Bee Movie. I haven't had any alone time with her in a while."
Kudos to great Daddies!

Yes, I think men overall are more involved these days. There are still too many that aren't however.
My husband has always been very involved from day one. It's still fun to watch him go shopping with three kids too ;-)
Recently, I've been hearing from our son's friends how fortunate he is to have a Dad in his life. One of his good friends even calls my husband Dad.
Good fathers are definitely underrated but remember that our young men need strong, positive male role models.
