Just the Right Comfort from a 4 Year Old
Today, due to reasons I don't feel like disclosing at the moment, I burst into tears in my car. I was really upset and luckily my son and I were just parked and not driving.
I could sense his silence in the back and thought maybe he was unsure of what to do or say. Then he just said, "I love you Mommy," and that was it.
And yeah, I cried a little harder cuz I have such a good-hearted man who just wanted me to know he loved me.

Aww thats sweet. Its amazing how our children know just what to say to when we really need it.
That is so sweet. It's at moments like that that all the bad days with our kids are completely erased from memory.
When my son does something like that it makes me cry just a little harder too!
I hope everything is okay, Alice. Your son sounds so sweet. When I cry Nicky will say "be happy Mommy" and kisses me.
