Snow Cake - a movie worth watching

I watched a movie worth mentioning this weekend called Snow Cake with Sigourney Weaver (who is amazing in this role), Carrie-Anne Moss (I loved her in The Matrix, but now I'm always expecting her to kick butt!) and Alan Rickman (I'm not overly familiar with him, but he brings a lot to the movie. He played in Harry Potter as Severus Snape).

I don't want to spoil it, I can say it is interesting, sad, humorous and inspiring, it pulls your heartstrings but inspires you to break out of the box, and teaches you a lot about first impressions and everyday heros. My kind of movie :0)

And you get to learn a few new words, like... this movie is dalzious. (Sigourney does a much better job with it, her use of the word in a game of scrabble is dalzious itself).

I wrote a full review on my blog if you would like to see it. It was shot in Wawa, Ontario, a bit of a scoot from here.
