Life Is Getting Back To Normal - With Wheels!

After being stuck with no vehicle since October, we finally have found a really cute Jeep Liberty that we are picking up tomorrow. Yippee! It's going to be the perfect chickmobile for me and the girls :0)

I am a homebody and don't go out a lot but when I can't when I want to, it drives me stir crazy!

My inlaws were really good about letting us use their truck and van but I don't like driving other peoples cars etc because that is when something happens.

My MIL left her van with us for a few days but I didn't go anywhere. She drove it to Toronto the next day and came home with a yellow stripe and dent in it. If I had driven it we wouldn't have known for sure when it happened.

I sometimes think I am over careful, but I was glad in this case because I would have felt badly if I thought it happened when I had it out.

The last time this sort of thing happened I was young and not so smart. I borrowed my Dad's truck and went out on a slippery day - skidded 3 times - banged in his grill at one corner and a friends car that was parked beside their driveway when I continued on to their house. Maybe that's why I'm careful these days :0)

I'm wondering if anyone else finds that Murphy's law kicks in when they borrow other peoples things? As a rule, I just don't.
