The Puppies Are Here
They are a week old now and they are doing fine. This picture was taken when they were just a few days old though. They aren't all in the picture, but they all pretty much look like this.
She started giving birth at about 9pm. It took about an hour between the first and second pup, but then she had 6 more after that within the next two hours. It was amazing. We ended up going to sleep because we thought she was done and it was already 12:00, but she had a couple more after that.
Mama dog is doing a great and she's a good mommy too!

WOW!! They are SOOOOOO CUTE and cuddly and L@@K at their precious little heads and the little red feet(paws) on their back legs. Do you have any of them with momma?
Adorable! That brings back memories. When I was a kid my folks reared Shetland Sheepdogs. Birthing time was always so much fun. :)
