So Happy For Spring to Have Sprung

It seems that Winter has made its last stand and Spring is on its way.

Today the kids and I met some friends and played all morning at the park. We had a picnic and fed the ducks. I came home with sun on my cheeks. Here are some of the things I'm looking forward to about warmer weather:

• Flip Flops. Ah the ease of slipping into my favorite black Old Navy flip flops.
  


• Shaving not being a waste of time. And pretty toenails that get seen.
  


• Fewer clothes. Not having to keep up with scarves, mittens and coats and the ubiquitous car clutter they create.
  


• Toddlers who get really worn out from playing outside in the morning sun. And the forthcoming long nap.
  


• Hanging clothes on the line outside instead of on my indoor drying racks.
  
  


• Kids playing outside for most of the day. Eating lunch outside means fewer messes inside. No nature deficit disorder here!
