As If I Needed Another Reason to Adore Chris Martin

Anyone who reads my blog for longer than 5 minutes knows about my little crush. Not only is Chris Martin wickedly handsome and talented. And tall and skinny and blonde and English, and concerned about people less fortunate than me... he is also a fiercely protective Dad and husband. Sigh. I haven't had a celebrity crush this bad since I was 14 and there was a thing called Martin Gore and Depeche Mode.

I love he keeps telling the guy to "Have some respect." And then the idiot reporter actually has the nerve to chide him? He's doing what men are supposed to do.


Gwyneth is pregnant and leaving the hospital. Who's the jerk here?

K-Fed First Wrestling, Now Football?

Seems Britney’s ex-hubby has put sports ahead of his music career, for the moment. First he made is professional wrestling debut when he defeated wrestling champ John Cena and now he’s moving to the Superbowl. This time around he won’t be participating in the sport though.

According to the news articles, K-Fed has been chosen to star in a Nationwide Insurance Superbowl commercial next month. Seems they think he’s the best suited for their “Life Comes at You Fast” campaign. It’s said the commercial will start with him a successful rapper and ends with him working at a fast food restaurant.

Very fitting, I say.

I guess if he can’t get the $50 million out of Britney, he’s got to find some way to pay the bills.
